The Southern Cross Martial Arts Centre is the home of the Southern Cross Martial Arts Association Inc (IA41386), a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of quality martial arts training in the community. OUr Master instructors have been teaching kids and adults for over 30 years and continue to have fun helping young people reach their full potential.
SCMA is based in Helensvale on the Gold Coast and is a martial arts training facility offering a variety of programs which are age appropriate, professionally designed and delivered. The school has a strong focus on self-development, community mindedness and real world self-defence which in turn develops confidence, focus and self-discipline in an environment which is structured, safe and focussed.
Classes are divided into developmental age brackets in order to deliver age appropriate material to children in the most beneficial manner possible. We have programs from age 2 and up.
The programs are:
Little Dragons – 3&4 years old
Junior Dragons – 5 to 7 years old
Red Dragons – 8 to 12 years old
Youth Karate – 13 to 16 years old
