Martial arts has always taught values such as goal setting, self-esteem, persistence, self-confidence and self-discipline (as well as many other important skills). In the past, some schools have taught these skills haphazardly and represented only a small part of the full curriculum. The difference between this “traditional” type of teaching and the education you or your child receive at Australian National taekwondo is that we teach these values on purpose. In other words, we teach Goal Setting as an integral part of our program. We teach how to improve Self-Esteem. We help develop Self-Discipline. We’ve accomplished this through many years of extensive instructing and learning ourselves while creating a great atmosphere in which you can learn.
