The Aquatic concourse tiles at Leisurepark Balga have reached the end of their usable life and are due to be replaced. The new tiles will have a higher slip resistance rating to increase safety within the facility.

This replacement is scheduled to start on Monday 26 February 2018.

A full replacement will occur through a staged approach. The pool area has been broken into ten sections with the removal of existing tiles being done in sections overnight and the preparation and re-tiling of the floors during the day. The staged approach will ensure all pools will remain open throughout the duration of these works.
