For 50 years, health care professionals have relied on South Coast Radiology to provide exceptional medical imaging services and the highest level of patient care to the Gold Coast and Tweed communities.
Radiologist Dr David Jones opened the practice that would become South Coast Radiology at 125 Nerang Street, Southport in 1967. Two years later, Dr Peter Ryan joined the practice forming Jones and Ryan Radiologists, which then evolved into the current practice, South Coast Radiology.
Our radiologists are committed to continuous improvement and advancement of the practice to benefit both referrers and patients. Our practice has been the first to introduce every type of diagnostic imaging to the region and our investment in the latest equipment ensures patients of the Gold Coast and Tweed region have access to services equivalent to those in capital cities.
The company employs approximately 300 staff, including radiologists, radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists, sonographers, registered nurses, administrative staff, couriers and our clerical practice support team. Our continued innovation and development of new services means that we regularly seek experienced staff to join our group.
