RoadNet, established in 1995, is a specialised traffic engineering consultancy founded by director Brian Kerwick.
The company started in Port Macquarie, NSW, and his since expanded, with employees now operating from offices located in Palm Beach, Queensland and North Sydney, NSW. A small presence reamins in the Port Macquarie area.
Over the past 20 years, RoadNet has provided traffic advice and civil designs to a wide range of clients from both the public and private sectors. RoadNet’s previous clients have included State and local Governments, large and small construction contractors, developers and other related consultants. RoadNet has provided traffic consulting services on projects throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory.
RoadNet has worked with construction contractors throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory on some of Australia’s largest road infrastructure projects including the Pacific Highway Upgrade, Toowoomba Range Second Crossing and the Gateway Motorway Upgrade.
RoadNet employs experienced civil engineers, traffic engineers, pavement engineers, civil designers, traffic control signal designers, draftsman and road safety auditors. We also have a network of experienced sub-consultants available to join the team where speciality services are required, This enables RoadNet to service a range of both small and large projects.
All of RoadNet’s technical staff have undertaken road safety auditor training, allowing designers to have a holistic approach to both safety and relevant design standards when preparing designs. The majority of staff have progressed to become Lead Road Safety Auditos in both QLD and NSW.
Many of RoadNet’s staff have previous experience working for TMR or RMS, allowing our staff to provide advice that meets the requirements of either TMR or RMS.
RoadNet operates through a quality management systems which is certified to ISO 9001 and a workplace health and safety management system which is certified to ISO 18001 and AS / NZS 4801.
