Lyceum Education Centre Pty Ltd was established in 1995, initially trading as Lyceum Language Centre offering LOTE courses to Australians. The school grew to include courses in Italian, French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Chinese.
To this day, Lyceum has maintained its specialization in the same six languages and now employs around 10 LOTE teachers at our CBD centre in Queen Street, Melbourne assisting up to 500 students per term to learn and enjoy their chosen language.
The administration team include up to 6 highly qualified, multilingual staff keen to advise and assist students.
In addition to the Languages Other Than English (LOTE), in 2007 Lyceum started offering English to Overseas students, trading also as Lyceum English Language Australia. The English classes have been a wonderful addition to the school allowing both student groups to interact and learn from each other, practicing conversation and forming friendships.
