Built in the 1960s, DAC has a long and colourful history, and has been a favourite with many of Canberra’s mums, dads, children, teenagers, schools and swimming clubs now for several generations.

Dickson Aquatic Centre prides itself in providing a fun, safe, outdoor environment for all the family to enjoy. Whether you want to do some lap swimming in our heated 50m pool or just let your children play in our heated shaded learners’ or toddlers’ pool, DAC has something for everyone.

Our friendly, qualified staff work hard to make your time at the pool safe and enjoyable. We only employ First Aid Qualified lifeguards. Large, shady trees and shade covers provide a beautiful and tranquil environment so you can sit back and relax, while delicious coffee is available at the Shark Bite Café.
