For more than twenty years I ran a dental practice in the middle of Hobart. Situated the next block up from where my grandmother was born nearly 100 years ago. On the 7/10/15 I suffered a medical emergency. In the middle of the night I had what is commonly called a stroke (or acquired brain injury). I was admitted to the Royal Hobart Hospital. I was unfit for working as a dentist.
Luckily we were able to contact Martin Fernando and he helped considerably by taking over and running the practice. We are very grateful for everything that Martin has done in the last few months and he is now running the practice full-time. His reputation as a dentist is unparalleled. To sum up I can say “He is a quality dentist who does quality dental work.” If you need Dental work and you live near Hobart then go and see Martin Fernando or one of his staff.
Since being discharged from hospital I have attempted to recover to my previous health and fitness. I have been swimming regularly. I am playing tennis consistently. The night of my brain injury was a night that I played tennis but I do not associate the two. I look on tennis as helping me recover not associated in any way with my illness. The other way I have tried to recover is by writing. I have written several blogs, which are up in the clouds, for you hopefully to read. Most of them speak for themselves. They all encourage and welcome comments.
